We are a small artisanal ceramics workshop based in Málaga. At María Monasterio Ceramic Studio, we specialize in crafting tableware and decorative pieces. Depending on the design, we use a variety of techniques, including the potter’s wheel, hand modeling, slab building, or molds.

Each piece is 3D printed in PLA, a plastic material that is ecological, renewable and biodegradable under certain temperature and humidity conditions. Suitable for removing glaze on bisque pieces as well as for finishing and smoothing raw pieces. I wanted to make a piece that had something characteristic of my city, Malaga, and that was related to nature. That's why I thought of our delicious espeto. And that is how the Espetaza came about.
