Closed tungsten carbide trimming tool

Closed head tungsten carbide ceramic trimming tool. Tool with tungsten head and hand-turned wooden handle with brass ferrule.
The closed shape with curves makes it easier to use on straight surfaces and leaves no marks. The wider curved area allows you to remove more clay at once and then use the flat part to make the piece smooth.
Tungsten is a very good abrasion resistant material as it holds its edge much longer than conventional steel tools.
Tired of the trimming tools wearing out after a few days of use, we decided to look for another solution and came across this material. After using them for a few months, they are still sharp. We are very happy with the result.
The handle is made of various types of wood, but mainly olive wood. It is comfortable and simple.
Tungsten is a hard but fragile material, so avoid drops and bumps, as they can break.
